The Band formed from jams inside
and around the DC beltway. In the late half
of 1999 it stated out with David
Poirier (guitar, Vocals), Hank Burnett (drums, vocals) and Mike “Slim Cuisine”
(bass). Later Lou Rau and Patrick Recob
joined on bass, with Doc Tom Kollars on horn and Jeff Conlin on Organ. Most recently The Railriders have been Dan
Pfeiffer (bass, Vocals), Rob Luoma (on drums).
Dave moved to Boston, then
Cleveland and Sadly Lou Passed away a few years ago. Hank is playing in other bands as is
Slim. Despite moving around Dave has
kept The Band Alive. The Railriders
have continuously performed for the past 10 years with some fantastic players
in 16 states and 3 counties
